As emergency medicine advances in the early 21st century, Florida Emergency Physicians stands out as the recognized leader in acute care. FEP is privileged to deliver emergency medical care to more than 350,000 patients a year within Florida Hospital in the Greater Orlando area. The American Hospital Association recognizes us as the largest emergency department system in the United States. Initiating cutting edge care in the emergency department with programs such as the Brain Attack Center or the immediate Cardiac Cath Lab intervention for patients with myocardial infarction have contributed to US News & World Report's recognition of Florida Hospital as one of the best hospitals in America. Our three-year Emergency Medicine Residency Program started training six residents annually on July 1, 2008. Florida Emergency Physicians embraces the opportunity to serve within this state of the art environment while looking forward to delivering the best emergency care possible to the citizens and visitors of Florida!
